Always been

A few little car boot purchases were made last weekend. Over the last few days I've been settling them in and finding places for them to live.

The sugar shaker has been filled with a cup of granulated sugar mixed with two teaspoons of cinnamon, to make cinnamon sugar. It will be used a lot over the coming months.

After a bit of a polish the spoons are looking happy, and I know just the place for the baby spoon.

In the salt pig, next to the stove.

I'm excited to about giving these ice skates a mini makeover for the festive season. I will tuck them away and bring back out again in a few months time.

And the candle stick is nestled in amongst my growing collection.

That's my favourite part of buying home goodies, the moment when they belong in your home, and look like they've always been x.

What a sweet entry - love the cinnamon and sugar idea!!! And the little spoon for the salt pig - you are a lady after my own heart - I have a salt pig too (my mum collects them) but it has been wanting a spoon for some time! The candle looks gorgeous too - all warm and cosy looking for the forth coming months ahead! xxx

My Grandma used to have a sugar shaker like that, so elegant.
And what a find the boots are, looking forward to seeing what you do with them.

What lovely finds. I especially love the sugar shaker, brilliant idea to mix in some cinnamon.

I'll give that a go if I can find a shaker.

I know I'm a bit late, but thanks for the pumpkin soup recipe, I'll be giving that one a go.

What lovely things you found. It is amazing that what some people want to get rid of so delights others. Just as well this happens because it makes us purchasers so very happy and the items find a good home.
